Roy Burton, Founder and President of Fuel Savers |
My name is Roy Burton, Founder and President of Fuel Savers Corporation. The Fuel Savers story really began with a chance meeting at a Toronto area gasoline station that eventually lead me to an interview with Mr. Dwayne Leslie, the Canadian inventor and manufacturer of the "gasoline and diesel fuel bullet" (although the term bullet is generally used, it would be more accurate to describe the product as a "gasoline or diesel fuel additive" or a "gasoline and diesel fuel detergent or conditioner").
I listened intently as, Dwayne, the genial, middle-aged, environmental inventor, outlined for me the history of his, now obviously timely, Canadian invention. Dwayne indicated how his invention was not "rocket science" or "magic"; it really worked and the science behind it was simple and well known. In fact decades ago the major oil companies sold "detergent gasolines." Dwayne explained how the oil companies had used and marketed detergents in the old leaded gasolines and only stopped using them (unfortunately) when the new un-leaded gasolines were introduced to the marketplace.
At the time, the oil companies' "detergents or fuel conditioners" were hydrocarbon based. Dwayne explained that these hydrocarbon detergents, added to the fuels by the major oil companies really did work and he therefore did not seek to reinvent the wheel, but rather to make it better. Dwayne was convinced that all of us would be winners in the long run, if he were able to develop a totally organic, totally biodegradable, totally environmentally safe, non-hydrocarbon-based alternative that would clean your vehicle's engine.
I was really intrigued with the product, the concept, the potential benefits for myself, my family, my friends, my community and hopefully in time all communities committed to cleaning up the ailing environment across Canada. The more Dwayne talked about his invention the more animated he became, "It is not often that you will run into a product whereby its very use helps us all, literally, to breathe easier." Dwayne is an honest, up front, straight shooter so I decided to try his "gasoline and diesel bullet" in my own vehicles to see whether the claims he made for the product were in fact correct.
Needless to say, I was so impressed with Dwayne’s invention and the results generated in my family's personal vehicles that I started Fuel Savers to distribute and market this Canadian invention across Canada. The Fuel Savers Corporation is totally Canadian owned and operated, located in the heart of Canada’s automotive industry, Oshawa Ontario.
As a team, we at Fuel Savers are totally committed to results, integrity, value, reliability and service in everything we undertake. After extensive personal testing, we are totally convinced of the integrity and merit of the product. This invention is the result of years of hard work by the Canadian inventor and sole manufacturer, Mr. Dwayne Leslie. In the spring of 2006 negotiations began for us to market the product under the Fuel Savers brand as the "Fuel Savers gasoline and diesel bullet." The acceptance of our Fuel Savers gasoline and diesel bullet so far has been incredible.
