Chapple Fuels Limited Converts Tanker Fleet To FuelSavers Wafers
Wayne Chapple of Chapple Fuels Limited has been safely hauling various commodities in Southern Ontario since 1975. Chapple Fuels has historically focused on environmental, health and safety issues and as such has earned the respect, recognition and support of both its customers and the community at large.

Located in Chatham Ontario, Chapple Fuels hauls petroleum products for all of the major fuel companies. Wayne Chapple operates 25 power units ranging from 525 to 600 HP pulling tankers and tanker pup combinations of up to 70 tons. Each of his big rigs comes complete with an advanced "black box" which tracks more data than you can imagine. These daily "Comprehensive Trip Reports" are automatically generated. They detail everything from Date, Odometer Reading, Start Time, Road Hours, End Time, Road KM, Average Trip KPH, Stop Hours, Inter Trip Idle Hours, Longest Speed Event, Hours over 110 KPH, Average KPH, Hours Over 110 KPH, Hours Over 1800 RPM, Hard Breaking, and additionally for us at FuelSavers the program also logs items including Total Trip Fuel Consumed, Total Idle Fuel Consumed, Total Road Kilometers, Total PTO Fuel Consumed, and finally Fuel Consumed in Kilometers per Liter.

In today’s competitive world it is impossible to be successful unless you are dedicated to detail. This is even more true when it comes to such a specialized haulage business like Chapple Fuels where every component of this trucking operation is subjected to what may seem to some as "information overload." Each of these incredibly expensive power units/tractors is unique, carefully maintained and scrutinized to ensure, safe, efficient, long-lasting and trouble-free operation. There is no room or tolerance for mechanical error or down time. Therefore a preventative maintenance program is a must and any opportunity to reduce costs while enhancing performance, fuel efficiencies and tailpipe emissions reductions, that have merit and are verifiable are looked at and considered seriously by Wayne Chapple.

Wayne Chapple confirms that his entire fleet of 25 tankers will be converted to Fuelsavers Wafers and subsequently places his first stock order
To this end Wayne Chapple recently undertook testing of the Fuelsavers Diesel Wafer in one of his 1999 International power units vehicle #208 (as well as in his own personal Chrysler pick up). Wayne averages 1.97-2.0 KM per liter in his power units and any legitimate product that has been shown to have merit, that enhances mileage per liter is seriously considered for testing. The results of his initial testing of the Fuelsavers Diesel Wafers were extremely positive. After adding the Fuelsaver Wafers to the regular diesel fuel mileage in test vehicle #208 (1999 International) increased from 1.97 Kilometers per liter to 2.1 Kilometers per liter (approximately 9% better fuel mileage) and 2.3 Kilometers (approximately 16.6% better fuel mileage) per liter. Coming soon are the two test reports for vehicle #208 from Chapple Fuels dated 10/31/2006 (actually representing two separate runs one run dated 10/27/2006 and the second dated 10/30/2006). It is important to note that these power units were hauling 70 tons and that the obvious difference in the mileage in the two separate runs herein documented seem to be related to the difference in the amount of idle time encountered during these two trips (the idle hours time for trip one being 00:33 hours whereas in trip two the idle hours time was 1:39 hours).

International Plowing Match and Rural Expo 2006
 The Fuel Savers Corporation attended the incredible International Plowing Match and Rural Expo 2006. Our Fuel Savers booth was highy popular and may possibly have been the most visited booth of the entire event!
